Hey everybody, welcome to the 10% Happier Podcast. I'm Dan Harris. As many of you know, I am obsessed with Buddhism, aka the Dharma, and uh one of my favorite ways to uh practice and learn the Dharma is through pithy little catchphrases, these little mantras, these, as I like to call them, Buddhist earworms that weasel their way into your mindstream and then surface at exactly the moments when you need them. We've done many episodes on this show where we uh talk to my uh longtime meditation teacher Joseph Goldstein about the uh many Buddhist earworms that he has personally uh coined.

However, he's not the only meditation maestro who uses uh pithy little phrases. Uh another person who has done so is the legendary Zen master Tiknot Han. Tiknot Han uh died uh a few years ago, but he was, as I said, uh a Zen master from Vietnam, uh, the author of many, many books, and the man who started uh the well known plum village lineage of Buddhist meditators.

And today we've got two of Tiknat Han's senior students here to talk about some of their favorite top 10 phrases from TikNot Han. My guests are Brother Fap Jung and Kyra Julingo, both of whom have been on this show several times and they're both amazing. Kyra Jewelingo, brother Fap Jung? Welcome to both of you. Welcome back.
