Life is a roller coaster ride of anxiety and frustration and anger and sadness and also elation and jubilance and contentment. And we should learn to just love them all. Once in a while we gotta just pause and check in and say Is my life working for me? I have this audacious goal of creating an emotion revolution.
Because feelings are things that people are afraid of. And that's not who we are, it's what we're feeling in the moment. And so if I wake up feeling anxious, it's not a signal avoid. For me, it's a signal to approach the emotion, ask myself why I'm having it. And then figure out what my strategy is for the day.
You know, there's that saying He's his own worst enemy. Or If she would just get out of her own way. We've all heard some version of this. Getting in our own way.
