Hey it's Lon, welcome back to another episode of This Week in Startups. We've got an amazing two parter for you. First up From our recent San Francisco tactical and practical event with launch, we've got Jason presenting an incredible presentation from Amanda Bradford of the League. She's gonna walk you through how she used gorilla marketing tactics and stuff that wouldn't scale. In order to grow and find her first customers for the league, signing on a foundation of users before the app even launched. It's an amazing talk about how your Pre-gaming and your marketing and your event planning has to start way before the app is actually ready to launch. Then we've got the latest edition of our flashback segment with myself and Alex Wilhelm. We're going through a classic interview with Patrick Collison of Stripe. It's very insightful and it's about how. Stripe has both changed over the years and how they've stuck to their guns and sort of not becoming a public company and why they've stayed private. Really insightful, lots to talk about with Stripe. So stay tuned right now for a new episode of This Week at Startups with both of those amazing segments.

I think our class of three hundred had like thirty couples that started out of that.
Uh you know, very tight cohort of people. Um and so one of the reasons that I kinda thought to to do this was When I was graduating, I was like, wait, this is crazy. Um So I was like, Why don't I just try to create the kind of the same sort of very close knit, very ambitious, very, you know, educated cohort with an app so that people don't have to go to business school to meet people. Um and I my background was in I'm I like to call myself like technical enough that engineers don't like me, but not technical enough to do their job, at least in the former days.
