Hello, everyone. Welcome to a new episode of The Decenter. I'm your host as always, Ricard Lops and today I'm joined by Amy Baldwin. She's co-host of the Shameless Sex Podcast. She's also a sex educator and sex and relationship coach. And she's the author, together with April Lampert, who, by the way, is the other co-host of the shameless sex podcast of Uh shameless sex, choose your own pleasure path to unlock the sex life you've been waiting for. So Amy, welcome to the show. It's a pleasure to everyone.
Thank you. Yeah, the book title is um a mouthful. One one of our criticisms is that if we were to write a second book or if we could redo it, we would not have such a longing run uh long running title because we don't even remember it. It's a good job. Yeah, sure. So look, I I've been following your podcast for a while now and uh particularly because I've also been doing This series on my own podcast, which I titled Humanizing Sex Workers, and just a couple of months ago you have Nina Hartley on the show. I thought okay, so Now maybe it's the time to invite them on the show. So if you're here with me today. Um So let me ask you this.
Uh What do you think are some of the biggest obstacles in our societies when it comes to uh talking about sex I mean why do you think it is such a taboo topic And how do you think?
