Welcome to this classic episode. Classics are my favorite episodes from the past ten years published once a month. They're N of One conversations with N of One people. In the midst of her transition to open AI, we're spotlighting the force that is Fidji Semo. I hope you enjoy it. Hello and welcome everyone. I'm Patrick O'Shaughnessy and this is Invest Like the Best. This show is an open ended exploration of markets, ideas, stories, and strategies that will help you better invest both your time and your money. If you enjoy these conversations and want to go deeper, check out Colossus Review, our quarterly publication with in-depth profiles of the people shaping business and investing. My guest this week is Fiji Simo, the CEO of Instacart. Fidji grew up in a small town in the south of France and was the first person in her family to graduate from high school. Since then, she's had a dazzling career with stops at Francis Leading University, eBay, and Facebook. Fiji spent the better half of a decade at Facebook where she led the Facebook app before joining Instacart in mid-2021. We talk about Fiji's consumer product experiences.
We already have this episode, so unlocking it is cheap and permanent: the full transcript, segment and word-level timestamps, and .txt, .srt, .vtt and word-level JSON downloads, as many times as you like, forever.
10 free credits is 10 episodes like this one a month. Episodes nobody has transcribed yet cost their length in hours, because we have to actually transcribe them.
