The theory behind a sales call is if you have pull You're gonna rip the thing out of my hands. So I have a very specific structure of a sales call for getting into discovery and then transitioning out of discovery. How can people use this framework to help them come up with ideas that are more likely to actually be successful one of the main mistakes people make is thinking that pull is a thing that a company has. It's a thing a person has. You're not selling to SpaceX. You're selling to the head of legal at SpaceX, who has a project on her to-do list that they can't do themselves. Yeah, this idea of the Hail Mary. approach. You're talking with people and they're like, Oh my gosh, this is exactly what I need. A lot of the time.
That's not gonna happen. That's also an opportunity to what I call throw the hail Mary, which is is there anything? We're seeing if they try to buy. If they don't, cool, we've learned something. We can kind of keep iterating from there. If they do, okay great. Now we might have something, let's see if it repeats. Say you actually found something, something that is pulling and people are like, I need this now. What comes next? Retention is super important. And it's not obvious. And so what I recommend is Yeah.
