Spaciousness – How to manage your attention, not your time

To imagine what spaciousness is, it's not about time management, it's about attention management, expansive and unhurried attention, where we are neither grasping towards the next moment nor running away from the previous one. But I think the argument against that is that short definition does miss some of the nuances. Sometimes our drive for speed, simplicity can mean that you miss quality and critical insights. There are four different dimensions of spaciousness. You kind of want to think quite holistically about them if you're trying to bring more of this into the way that you work.

Spaciousness is something that we self-sabish. sabotage, 60% of people can't remember the last time they spent 30 minutes or more on anything because people are just kind of switching so much. Yeah. And then go kind of into the feelings part of it. Like why does it feel uncomfortable?

We're really excited that we are back again with another Squiggly Careers skill sprint. Over 25,000 people have learnt with us on our sprint and we'd love you to come and learn with us in January. We are going to be learning like lobsters and the reason this matters is because learning has never been more important at work, but it's also never felt harder to do. And we think that lobsters are the role models that we've all been missing.

That is the first couple of minutes. The rest is $1.
