She's the YouTuber behind crafty thinking, where she applies philosophy to modern topics so that you understand why people believe what they believe. And today we're going to talk about the different takes that people have on sex work because Caroline has done recently a video on feminist perspectives on sex work and she also done an interview about it so We and I of course have an ongoing series on my channel call humanizing.

sex workers, so that's where We're going to talk about today. So, Caroline, welcome to the show. It's uh Big pleasure to have you one. Yeah, thank you for having me. I'm glad to be here. I think this is a really interesting topic, so I'm excited to talk to someone about it. Yeah, me too. I've been exploring it for a few years now, so uh I mean I'm really glad that you accepted the invitation. So but before we get into the actual topic, let me just ask you

uh more of a personal question. I mean what got you interested in this topic specifically? What do you think is uh I mean what stimulates you intellectually about it or intellectually or otherwise, of course. Yeah, so I mean, there's a couple answers to that question. So in undergrad, I majored in political science and I took a class on um sex work, sex trafficking, and that entire kind of topic. It was a quarter long class and we looked at different arguments in support of and against, and we look at statistics and data and all of that. And I found it really interesting. It was just fascinating because I hadn't looked at it in that way before. I I really hadn't Thought much about it in general.
