Why only 200 words
Apple sets the limit for listeners, and there is no "copy all" and no download. Copying a whole hour that way means about 55 rounds of select and copy: in the episodes we have transcribed, hosts speak a median of 186 words a minute, around 11,000 words an hour.
Copy all of it
Paste the episode link in the box above. We transcribe the show's public audio, and the whole episode is yours: select all and copy, or download it as plain text, text with timestamps, .srt and .vtt subtitles, and word-level JSON. It works on any device, not just Apple's.
If you are technical and on a Mac, there are unofficial tools that read the transcript files the Podcasts app caches. They depend on your macOS version, and Apple can change the format at any time.
