And since that time myself and Damien Hughes have had the privilege of speaking to hundreds and hundreds of the most incredible people on the planet. It's fair to say that many of them have impressed us or intrigued us or at times even changed us. But there's probably only a couple of handfuls of people that have left a genuine

indelible mark on the way that we live our lives and the way that we think. And we're about to talk about A man who did exactly that. And in so many ways, Damien, this is not an episode of high performance that either of us would ever have wanted to record, is it? Yes, Jake. Uh th this is a episode that we wish we weren't making. It's somebody that's been taken far too soon. It's uh the brilliant Nims Purger that we were looking of to speak to uh long before his fourteen peaks documentary. uh ever sort of catapulted him to worldwide renown.

Unfortunately this weekend he was caught up in an avalanche in Pakistan. Wherever his body was discovered. Indeed. So the world loses a man who brought so much energy, so much light, so much optimism, so much positivity. And I am so eternally grateful that we had the opportunity to speak to him on high performance and we're gonna share some of the clips
